Victoria Vetri, also known as Angela Dorian or Victoria Rathgeb, was born on September 26, 1944, in San Francisco. She is an American actress who grew up in Hollywood, where her Italian immigrant parents ran a nightclub. She studied art at Los Angeles City College, worked as a model, and attended acting school, adopting the stage name Angela Dorian.
Vetri made her film debut in 1963 as a native girl in "Kings of the Sun." In September 1967, she was Playboy's Playmate of the Month and, as Angela Dorian, appeared in Roman Polanski's horror film "Rosemary's Baby." In 1968, she was named Playmate of the Year. She starred in the 1969 Hammer film "When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth" but her career stalled afterward. In 1980, she was seriously injured in a violent incident at her Hollywood home. In October 2010, she was arrested and charged with attempted murder of her husband, pleading not guilty. In September 2011, she was sentenced to nine years in prison.
