Anne Julia Hagen was born on May 22, 1990, in Berlin. She was crowned Miss Germany on February 13, 2010, at Europa-Park Rust, representing Berlin and competing against 21 contestants. She studied cultural studies, English, and American studies.
Hagen appeared irregularly as "Cay-Girl Sonja" on the Süper Tiger Show on ZDFneo. She is 174 cm tall with dark blonde hair and blue eyes. Her measurements are 90–68–93 cm, and her clothing size is 36. In November 2010, she founded the integration project "Der Lernpate – Kinder für Kinder," which provides children with homework help and additional support beyond regular school care. She graduated from the Catholic School Salvator in Berlin in 2009.
