Beverle Lorence "Bebe" Buell (born July 14, 1953) is an American singer and former fashion model. She was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month in November 1974. Buell moved to New York in 1971 after signing a modeling contract with Eileen Ford and gained public attention through her relationship with musician Todd Rundgren from 1972 to 1979, as well as with several rock musicians over the next four decades. She is the mother of actress Liv Tyler, whom she had with Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler in 1977.
In 2001, Buell co-wrote an autobiography with Victor Bockris titled Rebel Heart: An American Rock and Roll Journey, which became a New York Times bestseller. The paperback edition was released in 2002.
