Brigitta Callens (born 28 September 1980 in Oudenaarde, East Flanders, Belgium) was Miss Belgium 1999 and represented Belgium at Miss World 1999. She was a ballerina for eight years during her childhood and later moved to Ghent in her teens to study languages.
After winning Miss Belgium at 18, she became an international model and signed with Stafford Miller for the Sensodyne International campaign. She worked as a model and makeup artist in Antwerp, created a jewelry line called AKINA, and later pursued photography. She practices Raja Yoga and studied in India, Thailand, Indonesia, New York, Paris, and London. She trained at the European Academy for Natural Healthcare and is a therapist and instructor in holistic massage, relaxation, and yoga nidra therapies. She runs her own Yoga & Mindstyle Institute, "La Maison Pure," and hosts a yoga program on Life TV, a Belgian health and quality of life channel.
