Candice Rickelle Glover (born November 22, 1989, in Beaufort, South Carolina) is an American R&B, pop, soul, and gospel singer who won the 12th season of American Idol in 2013. She is the only winner to reach the live shows on her third attempt.
In the final, she performed her debut single "I Am Beautiful," which entered the US charts. Her debut album, Music Speaks, was originally planned for summer 2013 but was released about nine months later, reaching number 14 on the US album charts in March 2014.
