Caroline Wozniacki, born 11 July 1990, is a Danish professional tennis player. She was a former world No. 1 on the WTA Tour, holding the position for 67 weeks. She was the first woman from a Scandinavian country to be ranked No. 1 and the 20th overall.
Since her WTA debut in 2005, Wozniacki improved her year-end ranking annually until reaching No. 1 in 2010 and 2011. She won 23 WTA singles titles, including six each in 2010 and 2011. She was runner-up at the 2009 and 2014 US Opens and the 2010 WTA Tour Championships. She won the 2006 Wimbledon Girls' Singles title and holds two WTA doubles titles. In 2008, she was named WTA Newcomer of the Year.
