Chanté Adams, born on December 16, 1994, in Detroit, Michigan, is an American actress known for her lead role in the film Roxanne Roxanne (2017), for which she received the Special Jury Prize for Breakthrough Performance at the Sundance Film Festival. She studied acting at Carnegie Mellon University and then moved to New York to advance her career.
Adams appeared in films such as Monsters and Men (2018), The Photograph (2020), and A Journal for Jordan (2021), and made her Broadway debut in the play Skeleton Crew. She continues to pursue a diverse career in film and theater.
