Clelia Sarto was born on November 26, 1973, in Oldenburg, Germany. She is an actress of Italian descent who initially pursued singing before training in acting at a school in Cologne. She also took acting lessons in New York and singing lessons in Los Angeles.
Sarto appeared in the film Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door and has acted in TV productions such as SOKO Köln, SOKO Kitzbühel, and Tatort. She played Daniela Schmitz in the ARD series Lindenstraße from episode 581 (January 1997) to episode 701 (May 1999). In 2009, she had a leading role in the ZDF series Das Traumschiff episode "Peru-Miami." Since 2013, she has portrayed Dr. Leticia Garcia in Der Landarzt and, from April 2014, a director in Der Knastarzt. She is married to actor Aleksandar Jovanovic and has one daughter.
