Sara Sampaio was born on July 21, 1991, in Porto, Portugal. She won a Pantene modeling contest in 2007 and worked on advertising campaigns for Axe, Replay, and Calzedonia. She appeared on the covers of Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar.
Sampaio received the Globo de Ouro award for best female model in 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2015. She was featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2014 and 2015. Since 2013, she has participated in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows and became a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2015.
