Dakota Blue Richards (born April 11, 1994, in South Kensington, London) is a British actress. She gained recognition for her role as Lyra Belacqua in the film The Golden Compass, an adaptation of the novel from Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy, which was released in German cinemas on December 6, 2007.
Richards has played the role of Franky Fitzgerald, an androgynous outsider, in the British television series Skins since its fifth season, which began in January 2011.
