Daniela Hantuchová, born 23 April 1983, is a Slovak tennis player who turned professional in 1999. She won her first WTA tournament at the Indian Wells Masters in 2002, defeating Martina Hingis in the final and becoming the lowest-ranked player to win the tournament. That year, she also reached the quarterfinals of Wimbledon and the US Open, finishing the year in the top 10. She was part of the Slovak teams that won the 2002 Fed Cup and the 2005 Hopman Cup.
Hantuchová reached her highest ranking of fifth in January 2003 after reaching the Australian Open quarterfinals. She has won eight WTA tournaments, including Indian Wells twice (2002 and 2007) and the 2015 Thailand Open. Her best Grand Slam result was the Australian Open semifinal in 2008. She became the 37th woman in the Open Era to reach 500 career wins in June 2013. In mixed doubles, she completed the career Grand Slam by winning titles at Wimbledon (2001), the Australian Open (2002), the French Open (2005), and the US Open (2005). She also reached several doubles finals in Grand Slam events. Since December 2014, she has been coached by Carlos Rodríguez and was mentored by Martina Navratilova in the WTA "Partners for Success" program.
