Daria Sergeyevna Kasatkina, born on 7 May 1997, is a Russian professional tennis player. She entered the WTA top 10 rankings towards the end of the 2018 season and has won two WTA singles titles and one doubles title.
Kasatkina started playing tennis at age six, encouraged by her older brother. She won the European 16s championship and the junior singles title at the 2014 French Open. By age 18, she reached No. 32 in the world and won her first WTA title at the Charleston Open. In 2018, she was runner-up to Naomi Osaka at the Indian Wells Open and won the Kremlin Cup in Russia.
