Ellen Michaels is an American model and photographer who was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for March 1972. Her centerfold was photographed by Dwight Hooker.
At the time of her pictorial, Michaels was pursuing a degree in elementary education. She later modeled for advertising campaigns and romance novels, and appeared on album covers for The Salsoul Orchestra, Eric Clapton, and Barrabás. She has also volunteered with disabled and senior citizens and ran a program for the blind. Currently, she is a wildlife and nature photographer specializing in birds, butterflies, insects, and landscapes of Central Park in New York City.
