Following the public attention from the scandal, Lewinsky gained international celebrity status and engaged in various ventures such as designing a handbag line, advertising a diet plan, and working in television. She later left the public eye to pursue a master's degree in psychology in London. In 2014, she reemerged as a social activist speaking out against cyberbullying, which she experienced during the scandal's public exposure.
