Jillian Noel "Jill" Hennessy (born November 25, 1968) is a Canadian actress and musician. She is best known for her roles as prosecutor Claire Kincaid on the American television series Law & Order for three seasons and as the lead character Jordan Cavanaugh on Crossing Jordan for six seasons.
She has appeared in films including RoboCop 3, Most Wanted, and independent films such as Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class, the latter of which she wrote and co-directed.
