Kate Marie Nash (born 6 July 1987) is an English singer, songwriter, musician, and actress. She had a UK number-2 hit with "Foundations" in 2007 and released the platinum-selling UK number-1 album Made of Bricks. She was named Best British Female Artist at the 2008 Brit Awards.
Her second studio album, My Best Friend Is You, was released in the UK on 19 April 2010 and in the US on 11 May 2010. It included the single "Do-Wah-Doo," her second biggest chart hit. Nash self-released her third studio album, Girl Talk, on 4 March 2013.
