Kelsea Nicole Ballerini (born September 12, 1993) is an American country pop singer and songwriter. She released her first album, The First Time, in 2015, and her second album, Unapologetically, on November 3, 2017. She was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2017 Grammy Awards.
Ballerini has seven charted songs on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, including four No. 1 singles on Country Airplay: "Love Me Like You Mean It," "Dibs," "Peter Pan," and "Legends." She was the first female artist since Carrie Underwood in 2006 to send a debut single to No. 1 on that chart, and the first female country artist since Wynonna Judd to send her first three singles to No. 1.
