Teyana Taylor (born December 10, 1990) is an American recording artist and actress from Harlem, New York. In 2007, she signed a record deal with Pharrell Williams' Star Trak Entertainment and made her first national appearance on MTV's My Super Sweet 16.
In 2012, Taylor signed to Kanye West's GOOD Music label through Def Jam after leaving Star Trak. She has worked as a songwriter for artists including Usher, Chris Brown, and Omarion, appeared on Fashion Week runways, and featured on Kanye West’s album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
