On 18 September 2004, she wed Luis Beltrán Ataulfo Alfonso Gómez-Acebo y Borbón (born Madrid, 20 May 1973) at La Granja de San Ildefonso in Segovia. He is the son of Infanta Pilar, Duchess of Badajoz, and a nephew to King Juan Carlos I of Spain. They have two children together: Luis Felipe and Laura. Reports indicate that the couple separated in May 2010.
