Lauren Ambrose, born on February 20, 1978, in New Haven, Connecticut, is an American actress and singer. She became known for her role as Claire Fisher in the award-winning series Six Feet Under and later appeared in Torchwood: Miracle Day and Servant.
She has also performed on Broadway, including a leading role in My Fair Lady.
