Queensberry was a German pop ensemble composed entirely of female members, established in late 2008. The group originated during the seventh season of the German adaptation of the international talent competition Popstars, titled Popstars – Just 4 Girls. The initial lineup featured vocalists Leonore Bartsch (Leo), Gabriella De Almeida Rinne (Gabby), Antonella Trapani (Anto), and Victoria Ulbrich (Vici). On July 7, 2010, it was announced that Antonella and Victoria departed from the group, with Selina Herrero and Ronja Hilbig joining as replacements.

The group's first album Volume I debuted in December 2008 and achieved gold certification in Germany. It included two singles, No Smoke and I Can't Stop Feeling, both of which entered the top thirty on music charts. In February 2009, Queensberry performed as the opening act for The Pussycat Dolls's Doll Domination Tour across various European nations. Their second studio project On My Own was released in November 2009.

For the soundtrack to Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, Queensberry collaborated with The Chipettes to record The Song in December 2009; this track reached number six on the U.S. Billboard charts while the film’s soundtrack secured the top position on U.S. soundtrack charts.
