Madeline Mae "Maddie" Poppe (born December 5, 1997) is an American singer-songwriter and musician who won season 16 of American Idol. She plays guitar, piano, and ukulele.
Before winning American Idol, Poppe released an EP titled Songs from the Basement and auditioned for The Voice in 2015.
