Mara Darmousli, born August 15 in Ptolemaida, Greece, is a Greek fashion model. She has appeared in international fashion events and on the covers of Vogue, Marie Claire, and Bazaar. In 1998, she won first place in the Greek Elite Model Look final and placed third in the Pantene contest at the Nice International final. Her early career was managed by Nikos Voglis of Prestige agency in Athens, who placed her with top international agencies.
In 2005, Darmousli acted in the Greek film I Kardia Tou Ktinous (The Heart of the Beast) and appeared in TV series including Mehri tris einai Desmos, To Kokkino Domatio, Agria Paidia, and 3os Nomos. She studied acting, physical and devised theatre, political sciences, and history while modeling. She has a son born on March 31, 2006. In March 2007, she was awarded Model of the Year in Greece. During the 2008/09 season, she co-hosted the TV show Εχουμε και λεμε (Let's talk) on ET1. Her international advertisements include Pantene, Parah, Nivea, Simone Perele, Clairol, Garnier, and Carita.
