Megan Mullally (born November 12, 1958) is an American actress and singer. She began her career in theatre in Chicago before moving to Los Angeles in 1985, where she appeared in supporting roles in film and television. Mullally made her Broadway debut in Grease in 1994 and has appeared in several Broadway musicals. She is best known for playing Karen Walker on the TV sitcom Will & Grace from 1998 to 2006.
From 2006 to early 2007, Mullally hosted The Megan Mullally Show. In 2009, she starred as Rosemary in the ABC sitcom In the Motherhood. She has guest-starred on shows including Parks and Recreation, Happy Endings, 30 Rock, and Boston Legal. Mullally starred as Lydia in the second season of Party Down in 2010 and co-starred as Chief on Adult Swim's Childrens Hospital. She had recurring roles as Tammy Swanson on Parks and Recreation, Dana Hartz on Happy Endings, and Aunt Gayle on Bob's Burgers. She received seven consecutive Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Will & Grace, winning in 2000 and 2006. Mullally also won three Screen Actors Guild Awards and was nominated for four Golden Globe Awards for the same role.
