Michelle Collins (born February 12, 1971, in the Panama Canal Zone) is a former American sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run and was particularly successful as a relay runner. She first appeared internationally at the Universiade, winning a bronze medal in the 200 meters in 1991 and a gold medal in the 400 meters in 1993. At the 1993 World Championships in Stuttgart, she reached the semifinals in the 400 meters.
Collins' most successful season was 1999. She won bronze in the 4x400-meter relay at the World Indoor Championships in Maebashi and silver medals in both the relay and 400 meters at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg. At the World Championships in Sevilla, she won silver in the 4x400-meter relay and reached the semifinals in the 400 meters. She was eliminated in the preliminary round of the 400 meters at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and narrowly missed the final at the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton. In 2004, Collins was implicated in the BALCO doping scandal, receiving an eight-year ban reduced to four years and having all results annulled retroactively from February 1, 2002, including a gold medal from the 2003 World Indoor Championships. She is 1.78 m tall and competed at a weight of 61 kg.
