Paulina Porizkova, born Pavlína Pořízková on April 9, 1965, is a Czech-born Swedish model, actress, and author with dual U.S. and Swedish citizenship. In 1984, at age 18, she became the first woman from Central Europe to appear on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.
She was the second woman, after Christie Brinkley, to be featured on the swimsuit issue's front cover in consecutive years (1984 and 1985). She served as a judge on America's Next Top Model during Cycles 10 to 12.
