Portia Lee James DeGeneres (born Amanda Lee Rogers; 31 January 1973), known professionally as Portia de Rossi, is an Australian-American actress, model, and philanthropist. She is known for her roles as lawyer Nelle Porter on Ally McBeal, Lindsay Fünke on Arrested Development, Veronica Palmer on Better Off Ted, and Olivia Lord on Nip/Tuck.
She is married to American comedian and television host Ellen DeGeneres. She currently appears on Scandal as Elizabeth North.
