Renate Reinsve, born on November 24, 1987, in Solbergelva, is a Norwegian actress. She studied at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and began her career on stage at the Trøndelag Theater.
She had early film and television roles in Oslo, August 31 (2011), and other Norwegian TV productions. Her international breakthrough came with the lead role in The Worst Person in the World (2021) by Joachim Trier, for which she won the Best Actress award at Cannes. Afterwards, Reinsve appeared in international projects such as The Governesses and Handling the Undead.
