Romee Strijd was born on July 19, 1995, in Zoetermeer, Netherlands. She is 1.80 m tall, blonde, and blue-eyed. She grew up near The Hague and moved to New York City in 2010 to start her modeling career.
In 2011, she signed with the American modeling agency DNA Model Management and has walked for brands such as Acne Studios, Alexander McQueen, Balmain, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, Prada, and Yves Saint Laurent. In 2014, she began modeling for Victoria’s Secret and walked in their fashion show in London. In 2015, she signed a contract becoming a Victoria's Secret Angel.
