Shannon Spake (born July 23, 1976) is a NASCAR correspondent and college football and basketball reporter for Fox Sports. She previously worked for ESPN, contributing to SportsCenter, serving as a sideline reporter for SEC basketball and college football games, and working for the SEC Network. Before ESPN, she worked at Speed Channel, co-hosting NASCAR Nation and Back Seat Drivers, and held on-air roles at WCCB in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Carolina Sports and Entertainment Television.
From 2007 to 2014, Spake was a NASCAR pit reporter for ESPN, covering Nationwide and Sprint Cup races until the network lost broadcast rights in 2015. She signed a multi-year contract extension with ESPN in 2013. Prior to on-air roles, she worked as a production assistant at Nickelodeon, CBS, and MTV. Spake grew up in Florida, graduated from Piper High School and Florida Atlantic University, and interned for radio host Neil Rogers in 1999. In 2016, Fox hired her as a sideline reporter for college football, basketball, NASCAR, and select NFL broadcasts. In 2017, she became co-host of NASCAR Race Hub and host of the Xfinity Series edition of NASCAR RaceDay.
