Shiri Freda Appleby (born December 7, 1978) is an American actress known for her leading role as Liz Parker in the television series Roswell. Her film credits include A Time for Dancing (2002) as Sam Russel, Swimfan (2002), Havoc (2005), and Charlie Wilson's War (2007).
In 2008, Appleby joined the final season of ER as intern Daria Wade. She starred as Cate Cassidy in the CW drama Life Unexpected for two seasons and played Lucy in the 2012 comedy Dating Rules from My Future Self. She had recurring roles on Chicago Fire and Girls and currently stars in the Lifetime dramedy series UnREAL.
