Princess Sofia of Sweden, Duchess of Värmland, was born Sofia Kristina Hellqvist on 6 December 1984. She is the wife of Prince Carl Philip, Duke of Värmland.
Before her marriage in 2015, Sofia was a glamour model and reality television contestant. She won the men's magazine Slitz's "Miss Slitz" competition in 2004 and participated in the reality show Paradise Hotel in 2005. On 19 April 2016, she gave birth to a son, Prince Alexander.
