Tate McRae, born July 1, 2003, in Calgary, Canada, is a singer, songwriter, and dancer. She gained recognition as a finalist on So You Think You Can Dance at age 13.
She started posting original songs on YouTube and gained viral attention with "You Broke Me First" in 2020. Her debut EP, All the Things I Never Said, was released in 2020, followed by her first full album, I Used to Think I Could Fly, in 2022. She has toured internationally and collaborated with artists across genres.
