Xandee is the stage name of Sandy Boets, born on 18 December 1978 in Tienen. She is a Flemish singer who represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004. At age 16, she founded the pop duo Touch of Joy with Serge (Sergio) Quisquater, who had represented Belgium in Eurovision 2002 with the song "Sister".
At Eurovision 2004 in Istanbul, Xandee performed the uptempo dance song "1 Life". Despite being a major favourite, the song received only 7 points, 5 of which came from the Netherlands, and placed 22nd out of 24 participants. A similar outcome occurred at Eurovision 2006 in Athens, where Belgian singer Kate Ryan, also a favourite, failed to qualify from the semi-final.
