Russian politician and former rhythmic gymnast Alina Maratovna Kabaeva (Russian: Али́на Мара́товна Каба́ева, pronounced [ɐˈlʲinə mɐˈratəvnə kɐˈbajɪvə]; Tatar: Әлинә Марат кызы Кабаева; born 12 May 1983) is recognized as a Honored Master of Sports. She has retired from competitive rhythmic gymnastics and has also worked as a model and actress. Kabaeva holds an impressive record in the realm of rhythmic gymnastics, having won 2 Olympic medals, along with 14 World Championship medals and 25 European Championship medals.

From the year 2007 until 2014, Kabaeva served as a Deputy in the State Duma representing the United Russia Party. In September 2014, she took on the role of chairwoman for the board of directors at National Media Group (ru).
