Amy Lee Grant (born November 25, 1960, in Augusta, Georgia) is an American singer and songwriter. She initially achieved significant success in Christian pop music and is known as one of the first Contemporary Christian Music artists to enter the mainstream pop market.
She has won six Grammy Awards and 22 Dove Awards and was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame by the Gospel Music Association in 2003. She has six gold albums and seven platinum albums, including one five-times platinum, one triple platinum, and one double platinum.
