Carrie Coon, born on January 24, 1981, in Copley, Ohio, is an American actress working in television, film, and theater. She is known for her role as Nora Durst in the HBO series The Leftovers (2014–2017) and received acclaim for Fargo (2017).
She appeared in films such as Gone Girl (2014), The Nest (2020), and Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021). Coon is an award-winning stage actress who has performed on Broadway. Since 2013, she has been married to playwright and actor Tracy Letts.
