American television host Elisabeth DelPadre Hasselbeck (née Filarski; born May 28, 1977) is known for her work in talk shows. Raised in Cranston, Rhode Island, she completed her secondary education at St. Mary Academy – Bay View and earned a degree from Boston College in 1999. In January 2001, Hasselbeck gained attention as a participant on the second season of the U.S. edition of Survivor, where she placed fourth overall. She wed NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck in July 2002.

In November 2003, Hasselbeck took over from Lisa Ling as the fourth co-host on The View. Alongside co-hosts Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd, and Barbara Walters, she received a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host at the 36th Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony. After almost ten years with the show, Hasselbeck departed in July 2013 to join Fox & Friends that September. In November 2015, she announced her exit from Fox & Friends to focus more on family commitments; her final appearance was on December 22, 2015.
