Finnish swimmer Emilia Bottas, born Emilia Pikkarainen on October 11, 1992, in Vantaa, has set national records in the 50 meters butterfly (26.90), 100 meters butterfly (59.02), 200 meters butterfly (2:10.89), and the 200 meters individual medley (2:14.23).

At the age of 15, she participated in the 2008 Olympics where she swam the 100 m butterfly with a time of 1:02.31, finishing in the 46th position. During the London Games in 2012, she took part in both the 100 and 200 meters butterfly events as well as the individual medley for distances of two hundred meters. In Rio de Janeiro at the Olympics held in 2016, she was a member of Finland's squad competing in the women's relay for four times one hundred meter medley.

Since starting their relationship in 2010, she has been partnered with race car driver Valtteri Bottas. The pair exchanged vows at St. John's Church located in Helsinki during September of 2016.
