Scottish curler Eve Muirhead, born on 22 April 1990 in Blair Atholl, has achieved a bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics held in Sochi as part of Team GB and holds the title of World Champion from 2013. As the skip for Scotland's team, Muirhead secured victories at the European Championships in Moscow in 2011, the World Championships in Riga in 2013, and again at the European Championships in St. Gallen in 2017. She is also recognized as a four-time champion at the World Junior level (2007, 2008, 2009, and 2011). A competitor at three Olympic Games, she represented Great Britain during Vancouver 2010, Sochi 2014, and Pyeongchang 2018. In Sochi, she made history by becoming the youngest skip to earn an Olympic medal among both genders. Her curling affiliation is with Dunkeld Curling Club located in Pitlochry.
