American public relations consultant and communications expert Hope Charlotte Hicks (born October 21, 1988) is recognized for her role as the White House Communications Director under President Donald Trump. She held the position of White House Director of Strategic Communications from January to September 2017, a position that was established specifically for her. Prior to this, she worked as press secretary and early communications director for Trump's campaign in 2016, along with serving as national press secretary during his presidential transition team. Additionally, she was employed by The Trump Organization before taking on these roles. Hicks is noted as Trump's longest-serving political advisor.
