Polish actress Izabella Mikołajczak, born on January 21, 1981, is also a dancer, producer, and environmental advocate. At the age of fifteen, while studying dance in Poland, Miko was invited to join the New York City Ballet and later pursued acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute. Her first appearance in American cinema was in Coyote Ugly (2000), followed by a leading role in the horror film The Forsaken (2001).

Miko has held recurring roles on TV shows such as Deadwood, The Cape, and Chicago Fire. She has appeared in dance-themed movies including Save the Last Dance 2 (2006), Make Your Move (2013), and Step Up: All In (2014). In 2014, she took on her initial role as a film producer for the British biographical movie Desert Dancer.
