Jenna Jameson (born Jenna Marie Massoli; April 9, 1974) is an American entrepreneur, webcam model, and former pornographic film actress. She began acting in erotic videos in 1993 after working as a stripper and glamour model. By 1996, she had won the "top newcomer" award from each of the three major adult-movie organizations and has since received more than 35 adult-video awards. She has been inducted into the X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) and Adult Video News (AVN) Halls of Fame.
In 2000, Jameson founded the adult-entertainment company ClubJenna with Jay Grdina, whom she later married and divorced. The company expanded from a single website to managing other stars' sites and producing explicit videos, with its first movie, Briana Loves Jenna, named best-selling and best-renting pornographic title for 2002. By 2005, ClubJenna had revenues of $30 million with profits estimated at half that. Jameson also appeared in mainstream media, including Howard Stern's 1997 film Private Parts and her 2004 autobiography, How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale, which spent six weeks on The New York Times Best Seller list. She announced her retirement from pornography in 2008 but has worked as a webcam model since 2013.
