Lena Kathren Headey (born 3 October 1973) is an English actress. She was scouted at age 17 and worked in small and supporting film roles throughout the 1990s before gaining recognition for lead roles in films such as The Brothers Grimm (2005), 300 (2007), and The Red Baron (2008).
Headey is best known for portraying Cersei Lannister in HBO's Game of Thrones since 2011, earning three consecutive Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series from 2014 to 2016. She also played Sarah Connor in Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and the villainous drug lord Madeline "Ma-Ma" Madrigal in Dredd.
