Welsh singer-songwriter and dancer Lisa Michelle Scott-Lee (born 5 November 1975) is an alumna of the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. She gained prominence as one of the three female lead vocalists in the pop band Steps, which was established in 1997 and disbanded in 2001; the group reunited in 2011 and has been touring since 2012. In 2003, Scott-Lee entered into a recording agreement with Mercury Records to pursue a solo music career, although her journey faced challenges following the release of her first single "Lately," leading to her being released after her second single. Her inaugural solo album, Never or Now, was issued in 2007 via Concept Records.
