Australian-British singer-songwriter Natalie Imbruglia (/ЙЄmЛ€bruЛђliЙ™/; Italian: [imЛ€bruКЋКЋa]; born 4 February 1975) is also a model and actress. She began her acting career in the early 1990s as Beth Brennan on the Australian soap opera Neighbours. After departing from the show, she transitioned to music with her successful rendition of Ednaswap's track "Torn".

Her debut album, Left of the Middle (1997), achieved sales of 7 million copies globally. Subsequent albums, White Lilies Island (2001) and Counting Down the Days (2005), experienced lower sales figures, though the latter reached number one in the UK charts. In 2007, she released Glorious: The Singles 97–07, a compilation that included the single "Glorious", which reached number 23 on the UK singles chart. Since her debut in 1997, Imbruglia has sold approximately 10 million albums.

Imbruglia appeared alongside others in the film Johnny English (2003) and took on a leading role in Closed for Winter (2009).

On December 3, 2014, she revealed intentions to produce an album featuring songs originally by male artists. This project titled Male marked her first release since Come To Life in 2009 and was launched in July 2015; it will be succeeded by an album containing original compositions.
