Australian guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Orianthi Penny Panagaris (born 22 January 1985), known simply as Orianthi, collaborated with Michael Jackson in 2009 while preparing for his This Is It concert series and has toured with Alice Cooper's band. Her debut single "According to You," released in 2009, achieved No. 3 in Japan, No. 8 in Australia, and No. 17 in the United States; her sophomore album titled Believe was distributed globally later that same year. Additionally, she was recognized by Elle magazine as one of the "12 Greatest Female Electric Guitarists" in 2009. She also received the "2010 Breakthrough Guitarist of the Year" accolade from Guitar International magazine.
