Her prominent role was as Special Agent Emily Prentiss on the CBS crime series Criminal Minds, where she was a regular from 2006 to 2012 and has since made guest appearances. Additional credits include portraying Elise and Mr. Mumbles on The Hub's Dan Vs., Frankie Dart on Yahoo's Community, Sadie Doyle in the "Beyond Belief" segment of Thrilling Adventure Hour, and Sara Kingsley on Fox's Grandfathered. Brewster has also appeared as a guest in episodes of Two and a Half Men, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Modern Family. Currently, she plays Dodo Bellacourt on Comedy Central’s Another Period.
