Taryn Manning (born November 6, 1978) is an American actress, singer-songwriter, and fashion designer. She made her film debut in the teen drama Crazy/Beautiful (2001) and gained mainstream attention with a lead role opposite Britney Spears in Crossroads (2002). She appeared in 8 Mile (2002), White Oleander (2002), A Lot Like Love (2005), and Hustle & Flow (2005), earning critical acclaim for the latter. Manning has had recurring television roles in Sons of Anarchy and Hawaii Five-0, and a leading role as Tiffany "Pennsatucky" Doggett in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black.
As a musician, Manning is the vocalist for the electronic duo Boomkat and co-owner of the clothing brand Born Uniqorn.
