Verónica Romero is a Spanish singer who gained fame in 2001 after participating in the reality singing contest Operación Triunfo, finishing in sixth place. She performed songs such as "You'd Better Stop," "Un-break My Heart" ("Regresa a mí"), and "One Day I'll Fly Away" on the show. Having sold more than 250,000 albums in Spain, she has achieved multiplatinum sales and several awards.
In 2005, she moved to London to study drama, take dance lessons, and improve her songwriting, writing her third album Serotonina. That year she founded her label, VK 48 Music. In 2006, she released Serotonina, and her single “Conectado a mi” received a Platinum Award from MSN as the most downloaded single in MSN history. She is involved in all aspects of her music production. After moving to Miami, she collaborated with producers and songwriters such as Rodolfo Castillo, Iker Gastaminza, Dan Warner, Lee Levin, Nina Ossof, Elsten Torres, Jim Camacho, and John M Flacone. In January 2010, she moved to Los Angeles. She is a voting member of NARAS and LARAS, organizations that present the Grammy and Latin Grammy awards.
